This entry uses DEC’s Slide Mountain Wilderness description: the yellow Phoenicia East Branch Trail connects to the blue Giant Ledge–Panther Trail. The outing turns around at Giant Ledge. Panther is a separate extension; reaching a viewpoint does not commit the group to the next mountain.
