Mount Tremper Fire Tower: January Trail Memories

Plan around this outing

A January outing and a warm-weather tower hike can feel like different projects. This Mount Tremper video belongs to HBTrails' January 2024 collection. Watch it alongside the destination record, then build a plan for the season and group you will actually be hiking with.

Keep the route and the memory together

Keep the filmed visit date visible when sharing older footage. In your own log, distinguish what you observed from what someone else reported. Note the approach, surface conditions and any turnaround rather than labeling the entire mountain easy or difficult for everybody.

The match uses the published title and verified HBTrails channel metadata. It is not a turn-by-turn route, a verified full-section completion or a current condition report. Publication date may differ from the date of the hike.

Make your next visit useful to the next hiker

Record the route you actually walked, the date and a specific observation: a muddy stretch, a turnaround or a clearly identified viewpoint. Explain what changed your plan. Add your own photos to the destination record and keep precise condition reports attached to the place you observed them.
